Expedition 33 é, possivelmente, o melhor jogo de videogame de toda história.
Não é uma afirmação qualquer, eu sei. Mas também não é um jogo qualquer.
É um RPG que funciona por turnos.
É o jogo com mais indicações e mais prêmios da história do The Game Award. 13 indicações e 9 prêmios.
Guillaume Broche é um francês que trabalhava na Ubisoft. Sem espaço para emplacar sua ideia, saiu e fundou uma desenvolvedora nova, Sandfall.
Seu talento para contratar é absurdo. São vários casos de profissionais com pouca experiência que fizeram trabalhos primorosos. A “Head Writer”, por exemplo, responsável final pelo roteiro, chegou lá pra fazer um teste pra interpretar uma das vozes do jogo.
Ah, e a trilha sonora... Que espetáculo. Contando com as variações, são 7 horas de música. Pra quem gosta de músicas clássicas no estilo “Carmina Burana”, é um prato cheio!
A história também tem um final surpreendente.
Infelizmente, leva algum tempo para fazer a campanha toda. Mas nada te impede de jogar no nível mais fácil e correr com a história no inicio do ato 3.
Ou mesmo de só ouvir a trilha sonora.
Me surpreendeu muito. Tiro o chapéu.

Que sorte a minha!
Sorte é um dos primeiros vocábulos que aprendi enquanto criança. Minha avó morava com a gente e gostava de distribuir essa palavra quase a esmo, apesar de ser uma pessoa bem culta.
No dicionário, agorinha mesmo, encontro 14 significados. Tá bom ou quer mais?
O primeiro deles é “força invencível a que se atribuem o rumo e os diversos acontecimentos da vida; destino, fado”.
Força invencível! Taqueopariu. Estamos perdidos.
Não importa o que eu faça. O que eu deixe de fazer. Não importa o que eu aprenda. Pra quem eu peça ajuda. Não importa pra quem eu reze.
Estão aí os “desígnios da sorte” pra acabar (ou não) com o meu dia.
Acho um desserviço que a palavra seja usada com esse sentido.
Para a psicóloga Carol Dweck, o que as pessoas chamam de sorte é, muitas vezes, o resultado visível de uma preparação invisível.
Existe um mindset fixo e um mindset de crescimento. No fixo, a sorte é uma sentença. No de crescimento, a sorte é uma oportunidade que encontra o esforço. Depende, portanto, de mérito.
“Quanto mais eu estudo, mais sorte eu tenho”.
Dessa expressão eu gosto bastante. Apesar do fato de que não dá pra cravar qual é a intenção do emissor aqui:
Pode estar debochando, irônico, atestando que, à medida que ele estuda mais, as coisas parecem mais fáceis - como se fosse sorte;
ou então, com uma perspectiva mais espiritual, dizendo que atrai mais coisas boas do universo por conta de merecimento.
Veja que aqui novamente ocorre a dualidade. Na 1ª alternativa, foi mérito. Na 2ª, sorte.
Na 1ª o mérito é absoluto. Mérito de ter estudado.
Na 2ª, o mérito é enfraquecido, e é preciso que o universo apareça resolvendo lhe brindar pelo esforço.
Pra mim, a meritocracia não é absoluta, mas é responsável pela maior parte das coisas que acontecem na nossa vida.
Sorteio é algo decidido pela sorte. O ser humano gosta de sorteio. Gosta muito! Principalmente porque ativa o seu circuito dopaminérgico. É o mesmo circuito explorado pela indústria dos cassinos e dos videogames.
Mega sena, por exemplo, é um negócio interessante. 56% do valor das apostas fica com o governo, seu sócio. Ou seja, sobra um pouco menos da metade pra distribuir entre os ganhadores.
A chance de você ganhar, obviamente, é diminuta. Muitas pessoas, portanto, enfrentam filas em lotéricas, perdem seu tempo e seu dinheiro por algum motivo – que não é o argumento racional estatístico.
O que provavelmente as move não é nada racional. É emocional mesmo. Neurotransmissores são produzidos e ela se perde na imaginação, no famoso “e se”. E se eu ganhar na loteria, o que eu vou fazer? O que você vai fazer se ganhar na loteria. Outros se mostram mais ousados e já mandam: quando você ganhar na loteria, o que você vai fazer com o dinheiro?
Muita gente ainda possui o famoso FOMO ( em inglês, “Fear Of Missing Out). Ele nem iria jogar, mas ao ver o pessoal do trabalho fazendo um bolão ele se sente compelido, impelido, coagido, obrigado a participar: “afinal, eu me sentiria muito mal se todos ganhassem e eu não”.
Como vimos, jogar na lotérica não é uma boa decisão racional. Isso se você acredita na lisura dos sorteios. Se não acredita é uma decisão pior ainda!!
Nunca gostei de depender da sorte. Até porque sempre me decepcionava quando esse era o caso. Nunca era agraciado.
Agora, adulto, entendo que, num espaço amostral bem grande, eu tinha a mesma sorte que os outros. Mas como a dor da “perda” é 2x pior do que a alegria do ganho, os revezes ficavam marcados de forma mais acentuada.
Não gostava de depender da sorte. Talvez por isso que eu tenha gostado tanto do xadrez.
“Xadrez não é sorte”, eu sempre dizia. “quem jogar melhor, ganha”.
Na bolsa de valores não é tão diferente. Quem aplica como se fosse um cassino, no longo prazo, vai perder mais dinheiro do que ganhar. Certeza. Afinal, a corretagem fica no meio do caminho.
Contrate gente séria, seja um analista ou um gestor. E, se possível, entenda as teses.
Isso te trará um patrimônio que os invejosos chamarão de sorte!
