A revolução da Glicose, apesar do título levemente sensacionalista, é um excelente livro.
Traz muita coisa que, apesar de funcional, não era muito difundida, até mesmo entre alguns profissionais de nutrição.
É uma obra de fácil compreensão, até mesmo para aquele que não está acostumado a ler sobre assuntos relacionados à saúde.
Não sou novato no assunto, e mesmo assim curti bastante. A ideia é implementar algumas rotinas novas desde já. Como, por exemplo, caminhar 10 minutos depois das grandes refeições.
Livro legal! Vale a pena.

Denominamos esses textos como “Crônicas de mercado”, e cada um deles virá com um tema diferenciado.
É o quê, meu irmão?
Há algum tempo escrevi uma crônica sobre a nova cachorrinha de casa.
Nos primeiros dias de vida ela só ingeriu comida de cachorro. De boa qualidade. Ainda assim, seca. Bem seca.
Nunca provei, mas imagino que haja coisas melhores.
Eu sou curioso, é verdade. Mas não a ponto de provar a comida da cachorra. Ao menos não hoje. Hoje tenho vontade de fazer outras coisas. No momento, escrever a crônica está de bom tamanho.
Depois de um tempo se esbaldando na ração seca, ela descobriu o que era petisco. “Bicotinho” foi o nome dado para o preparado industrializado - focado principalmente em pets. Digo principalmente porque podem existir pessoas mais curiosas do que eu. Pessoas provando a ração nesse exato momento. E gostando, por que não?
Enfim... A cadela adorava o “bicotinho”, que quase poderia ser apontado como seu principal objetivo na vida. Conseguir “bicotinhos” a qualquer custo. Mobilizar alguns dos poucos neurônios no intuito de aprender o padrão do que dava a bendita da guloseima para ela. No caso, fazer xixi ou cocô no lugar certo. Logo após satisfazer suas necessidades fisiológicas, muitas vezes ela já subia em duas patinhas para tentar chegar mais rápido ao manjar dos deuses.
Estou usando os verbos no passado porque é lá mesmo que essas ações estão. No passado. Atualmente, o “bicotinho” não lhe desperta nenhuma emoção. No máximo, na melhor das hipóteses, ela pega pra ficar brincando com as patinhas.
Acho incrível como o “bicotinho” descendeu do pedestal de “razão para viver” até o nível de “críquete com as patas”.
É um excelente exemplo de impermanência. A realidade de ontem não é mais a de hoje.
Isso se aplica a mercado financeiro também, é claro. A margem de segurança que tínhamos ontem pode não ser a mesma de hoje. Podemos, por exemplo, ter alguma notícia de fraude ou erro contábil grosseiro, ou simplesmente a divulgação de um péssimo balanço.
No entanto, não foi pra isso que eu comecei essa crônica. O assunto não era esse. Tinha a ver com a cachorrinha, sim. Mas é outra coisa.
Além de comida preferida (no momento, maçãs), ela também tem um tapete higiênico favorito.
Se colocarmos qualquer outro no lugar, ela poderá se rebelar das mais variadas maneiras: pode brincar de soltar os adesivos e passear com o tapete de um lado ao outro, como se fosse o amiguinho do Charlie Brown; ou simplesmente ignorar o tapete e começar a fazer xixi num local escolhido a esmo; melhor não.
O tapete antigo acabou, e, como seria de se esperar, fui incumbido da nobre tarefa: arranjar um novo saco de tiras higiênicas.
A marca que ela gosta é de uma companhia chamada União Pet Participações. É uma empresa extremamente séria e de capital aberto, que usa o ticker AUAU3.

“Bom” – pensei “106 reais é praticamente o preço de comprar na loja física. Entregando em casa em 1 dia, não está de todo o mau.”
Apertei mais um botão visando a compra. Eis que me aparece o preço total de 112 reais. Olhando com calma, vi se tratar de 3 subpreços: frete, preço e um ponto de interrogação misterioso.
Se quiser saber o que está no ponto de interrogação? Vai ter que passar o mouse por cima, meu amigo!! Quer matar a curiosidade? Precisa colocar a mão direita pra passear no pad.
Como é uma curiosidade bem mais fácil de ser resolvida do que descobrir sabor de comida de cachorro, fui lá ver o que era. Era uma “taxa de serviço”, que se prestava a “otimizar os custos de qualidade do sistema para manter o padrão de atendimento”.
Aí eu digo a boa e velha gíria do Rio de Janeiro: “É o quê, meu irmão??” Ou “mermão”, se o seu carioca tiver a dicção um pouco mais arrastada.
Sempre que isso acontece, meu sinto um pouco manipulado pela empresa. Tratado um tanto quanto idiota. Ou, na melhor das hipóteses, um rapaz apressado, que pode simplesmente ser passado pra trás.
“Ei, você, Auau3! O que é isso, meu irmão? Tá achando que aqui é a casa da mãe joana?”. O discurso pode se estender um pouco caso eu esteja em um dia mais chato, com uma infrutífera vontade de reclamar.
É claro que o certo seria acrescentar o custo ao frete ou ao produto. Mas, de alguma forma, a empresa acredita que vai vender mais (ou melhor) fazendo esse tipo de artimanha. Eles o fazem porque acham comercialmente viável.
Qual é o grande “X” da questão aqui? Se algo tiver boa receptividade, ele vai ser usado por um grande número de empresas. Seja bom para o consumidor ou não.
No mercado financeiro, quase sempre os produtos mais “empurrados” são os piores. Pior pra você, melhor e maior comissão pro vendedor.
Preste sempre atenção às taxas ocultas: corretagens e comissões, por exemplo. E desconfie de todo produto que depender de comissão mirabolante para ser vendido.
Infelizmente, tem bastante cachorrada nesse meio.
