Tires (O Rei dos Pneus) – Netflix
Tires é uma série realmente interessante. No piloto, quase me enganei. Pela estória se passar numa oficina mecânica, há uma predominância de homens e de algumas linguagens e brincadeiras mais grosseiras.
No entanto, isso é apenas a 1ª camada da história.
Seus personagens são muito bem construídos e os atores, em grande maioria humoristas, estão realmente seguros em seus papéis, e tem bastante carisma.
Steve e Shane, os personagens principais, também são os primeiros nomes dos atores que os performam. Além de atores principais, eles também são 2 dos criadores da série, e responsáveis por parte dos roteiros.
Já havia comentado isso antes: gosto muito desse tipo de estrutura, que dá mais autenticidade à visão do artista por conta da maior liberdade de trabalho.
Ótima distração. Gostei.

Periodicamente procuraremos trazer textos (crônicas) para nossos assinantes com o objetivo de levar a uma reflexão mais profunda sobre o mundo dos investimentos, assemelhando-o a nossa vida cotidiana, afinal, investir sempre fará parte da nossa vida cotidiana. Denominamos esses textos como “Crônicas de mercado”, e cada um deles virá com um tema diferenciado.
Carro com defeito
- Papai, quando é que a gente vai parar pra tomar sorvete?
- Daqui a 2 horas, filha
Após um breve silêncio, a criança continua:
- E agora, papai? Já tá na hora do sorvete?
- Não, filha. – disse o pai, com paciência. – Ainda falta 2 horas, só passou 2 minutos.
A menina encantada com a ideia do sorvete é Isabela, filha mais nova de Pedro e Isla.
Pelo “papai” já conseguimos ver que ela é nova. Quando o rebento ainda é um bebê, ele não chama o pai. No máximo, chora. Pouco depois, começa a idade do “papai”. Isso dura até uns 3 ou 4 anos, quando finalmente a criança passa a chamar o progenitor simplesmente de “pai”.
Isso dura até a adolescência. Aí tá arriscado a entrar algum apelido jocoso, ou simplesmente chamar o pai pelo nome, numa tentativa de combater a hierarquia da casa.
Estávamos longe desse tempo.
A família viajava toda dentro de um carro, saindo do Rio a caminho de Salvador. O trajeto era ganancioso, sem dúvida: do ponto de partida até o de chegada são 1215 quilômetros. Isso não era distância pra fazer em 1 dia só! A ideia era fazer em 2. Torcendo pro sorvete não atrasar todo o cronograma.
O carro era um Ford Escort, 2003. Nossa história se passa em 2014, portanto o carro era mais velho que as duas filhas do casal. Ainda não apresentei as duas, não é mesmo? Além de Isabela, de 3 anos, tínhamos Lorena, de 8. Além do casal e dos filhos também viajava Sinara, a sogra de Pedro.
Sinara não gostava tanto assim de Pedro, mas a essa altura já aceitava o genro. Foi voto vencido. Tentou fazer com que a filha não se casasse com o rapaz, o que inesperadamente fez o amor proibido ficar bem mais forte. Quem diria, não é mesmo?
Sinara era viúva, por isso sempre se oferecia para acompanhá-los nas aventuras. Pedro ficava sem graça em dizer não. Até mesmo porque a sogra é que bancava a companhia das meninas em casa, enquanto os pais aproveitavam um cinema ou outros programas de casal mais picantes.
Nos primeiros 100km, ainda no interior do Rio, o carro enguiçou. A caixa de marcha afundou, de forma que Pedro nem conseguia mexer. Não é como naquele caso famoso da fórmula 1, onde Senna ganhou o GP do Brasil sem a 4ª, 5ª, e a 3ª marcha, e foi se arrastando na frente de seus adversários.
Se arrastar não era uma opção para Pedro. Não tinha marcha nenhuma.
A única opção era se aproveitar da inércia e levar o carro para a direita, no acostamento, antes que o veículo parasse completamente.
- Será que é água no carburador, Pedro? – disse uma preocupada Isla
- Não, é a marcha - respondeu o marido.
Sua mulher não tinha a menor noção de como funciona um carro, o que fez lembrá-lo de uma famosa piada;
A mulher liga para o marido desesperada:
- Flávio! Preciso de ajuda, o carro não pega de jeito nenhum
- O que aconteceu?
- Acho que entrou água no carburador.
- Mas você nem sabe onde ficar o carburador, oras... Onde está o carro?
- Caiu na piscina do clube.
Voltemos à crônica. O Escort de Pedro deixou a família na mão, e a sogra já começava a reclamar:
- Pôxa, Pedro! Que droga! O que é que você vai fazer agora?
- Vou ver se tem sinal no celular pra chamar um guincho.
- E a viagem? – perguntou Isa
- Ficou difícil agora.
- E o sorvete, papai?
- Ficou mais difícil ainda, Isabela.
O clima ficou tenso. Isabela chorou. A irmã, Lorena, também chorou. A sogra quase fez Pedro chorar.
- Por que você ainda não trocou esse carro, Pedro? – arrematou Sinara.
Nesse tipo de situação, muitas vezes as pessoas apontam o dedo e se desesperam. Boa parte das críticas é infundada. Mas não era esse o caso.
Pedro, Sinara, Isa e, àquela altura, até a torcida do Flamengo sabiam que esse carro tinha um defeito crônico no câmbio de marcha.
O defeito era remendado, a peça era trocada, mas nada adiantava. O problema continuava. Pedro sofria. Ele já vinha tentando manter o carro há 2 anos dessa forma. Foram 5 consertos. E o 6º deles acabou de aparecer no horizonte.
Não é como se ele não tivesse grana pra trocar de carro. Ele tinha. Era disciplinado em guardar um dinheirinho todo mês. O problema é que ele havia se afeiçoado ao carro. Não queria se desfazer de um bem que era dele.
Pedro continuava se dando mal por conta de toda essa afeição.
No mercado financeiro, pode acontecer o mesmo. Você pode ter comprado algo que caiu e, por conta do viés de posse, preferir acreditar que tudo vai mudar. Mesmo sem motivos para tal.
Um dos melhores investidores que conheci até hoje costuma dizer: “não se apaixone por nenhuma ativo”.
Se você errou, dê um passo pra trás e desfaça. Principalmente se não souber o que está fazendo.
Reserve a paixão apenas para seres humanos. Esqueça os objetos inanimados. É melhor assim.
Pet ainda vai. Só não ponha os bichinhos em carrinho de criança, senão fica difícil de te defender.
