Para quem não sabe, André Lara Resende é um dos "pais" do plano real. Economista renomado, mas considerando por muitos como polêmico, ou, com visões um pouco diferentes. Bem, só alguém que pensa diferente poderia ter ajudado a criar o plano real, com outras pessoas que pensam diferente também. Eu gosto de pessoas que pensam diferente, parecem esquisitas por vezes, mas elas conseguem fazer coisas que a manada não consegue fazer.
Como vocês acompanham, tenho escrito e falado muito sobre a possibilidade de a Selic estar fora de prumo e precisar de uma correção urgente, ou o remédio que se tenta usar para controlar a inflação pode se tornar um veneno e deixar a situação fiscal ainda mais difícil.
Entre vários textos que já li sobre juros, os do André Lara Resende sempre me provocaram e, quando comecei a fazer esta leitura sobre a Selic, lembrei dele e decidi ler este livro que fala muito sobre juros.
O autor apresenta desde um conceito sobre a criação da moeda, o seu uso, o controle do Estado, bem como o motivo pela busca fiscal desde que a moeda passou a ser fiduciária e não ter mais lastro em um metal, como era o ouro, defendendo que não faz sentido algum país dar calote em moeda local. Só por essa parte já vale a leitura, diante de tantas besteiras que se fala na internet de que o Brasil vai dar o calote nas NTNB.
Ele apresenta com bastante riqueza que os juros no Brasil podem estar acima do necessário, sem, no entanto, defender que se reduza os juros na força. Curiosamente a visão dele não é propriamente de um controle fiscal a qualquer custo e que um país poderia gastar mais do que arrecada, desde que o faça bem feito. Desde que esses gastos se transforme em crescimento e os juros reais fiquem abaixo do crescimento.
A leitura é provocativa, pois de forma contrária a muita coisa que escutamos e lemos na mídia, mas não com uma ideologia política e irracional, mas sim com um embasamento de quem estuda o tema e ajudou o Brasil a resolver um dos maiores problemas de todos os temos, a hiperinflação. Ele não propõe em momento algum a loucura que o Governo Dilma fez, mas sim uma reflexão inteligente que seria necessária em nossa política, mas, no momento que me encontro, só com uma intervenção alienígena para que isso possa ocorrer parece.
Vale a leitura. Mas, não vou mentir, o conteúdo é mais denso que o normal.

Refiro-me à referência
Venho jogando EA FC nos últimos meses. Pra quem não sabe, é um simulador de futebol. Fabuloso, diga-se de passagem. Em muitos aspectos, parece com um jogo de verdade.
No entanto, não recomendo a ninguém que jogue. O jogo é perversamente brilhante em relação às dinâmicas, feitas para viciar seu usuário o mantê-lo o maior número de horas possível online.
Há um mercado de jogadores e itens funcionando 24h por dia, com preços variáveis em forma de leilões. São várias versões diferentes de jogadores famosos, tanto de ídolos do passado quanto os atletas da atualidade. Baseados no famosos FOMO (fear of missing out, ou medo de ficar de fora), os usuários são instigados a procurar as cartinhas novas, com versões atualizadas dos atletas, para ter o melhor time possível.
E ai de quem jogar a cartinha antiga fora! Você tem o que fazer com ela! Pode vender num leilão ou simplesmente guardá-la para usar numa EVO (abreviação de evolução), que é quando as cartas têm alguns atributos melhorados.
Para testar as habilidades dos jogadores, há vários botões e joysticks no controle que determinam ações diferentes em campo. Apenas para passar uma bola, existem 29 variações e comandos de passe catalogados no jogo.
Os atributos determinam as características dos jogadores - que se movimentam em campo de forma diferente, para quem não sabe. É possível ter melhor habilidade para atacar, marcar, chutar, ou qualquer fundamento que você imaginar. É realmente um mundo à parte ali dentro.
Certo dia, saiu uma cartinha nova do Maradona: Maradona 99 – nível máximo pelo qual pode chegar qualquer carta. Naturalmente, a cartinha não era barata: custava cerca de 3,5 milhões de uma grana virtual, do jogo. Esse dinheiro, por óbvio, não é de verdade. Se o usuário for viciado e quiser injetar dinheiro de verdade no processo para ter acesso a mais cartinhas, a EA, desenvolvedora, não reclama nem um pouco.
Eu, naturalmente, nunca pus grana de verdade. Mas eu tinha descoberto vários atalhos para acumular dinheiro de mentira no jogo – e o tinha feito com certa facilidade. Não é $$ de verdade. Eu chamo de “dinheiros”, que é como Filha chamava qualquer unidade de moeda quando era mais nova.
Como eu tinha os “dinheiros”, comprei a cartinha no prelo. Era uma das mais caras do jogo. Na internet, decidi fazer uma piada. Fui lá no fórum que discutia a cartinha e pus “Pronto, já comprei o Maradona. Agora com qual comando eu mando ele pôr a mão na bola quando estiver na área?
E aí, meu leitor? Tá achando que a piada bombou? Que levou várias curtidas? Que nada! Flopou bonito.
Pra ser sincero, já esperava por isso. Às vezes faço a piada porque eu gosto mesmo, ainda quando acho que o público não vai curtir. Mas por que flopou?
Bom, pra início de conversa não é a piada mais engraçada do mundo. Mas tem o seu charme. O grande problema aqui é de referência. Quando falta a referência, teu público não entende nada. Não há o que fazer! Senão, vejamos:
Em 1º lugar, o fórum é em inglês. Eu postei em português. Isso, por si só, já restringe algo em torno de 97% do público.
Em 2º, o sujeito precisa saber que há uma infinidade de comandos no joystick, senão a piada perde a força. Nesse fórum específico, isso não é um problema.
Em 3º lugar, é ideal que a pessoal já tenha uma certa idade para lembrar do Maradona fazendo gol de mão nas quartas-de-final Copa de 1986. Toscamente, ele ainda se orgulhou do gesto antidesportivo e apelidou-o de "La Mano de Dios".
No entanto, se você nasceu de 1981 em diante, provavelmente não fazia ideia do que eu estava falando.
Não foi a melhor piada do mundo. Mas foi uma piada “honesta”. Que não será entendida por milhões, por falta de referência.
Não foi nem a melhor piada que já fiz sobre o Maradona. Quando fui redator do “Casseta e Planeta Online”, tive que escrever algo no dia da cerimônia da Fifa. Na época, Pelé e Maradona não se falavam. A FIFA fez duas votações para decidir o “melhor atleta do século”. A votação dos jornalistas, Pelé ganhou. A dos internautas, com maciça campanha dos argentinos, Maradona levou.
E agora? Como chamar ao palco juntos 2 atletas que não se falam numa cerimônia oficial?
Nesse mesmo dia foi pro ar a minha matéria, intitulada “FIFA divide o prêmio: Pelé é herói; Maradona, heroína.” Bons tempos...
Ou seja: algo fundamental no humor muitas vezes é ignorado. Refiro-me à referência.
Entender piada sem referência, por melhor que ela seja, beira o impossível.
Referência é importante para quase tudo na vida, não só pra pegar as piadas. No mercado financeiro, existe um grande jargão de termos técnicos que se usa. Por mais que o analista tenha cuidado, não há como explicar tudo de uma vez.
Ao prestar atenção, você vai acumulando referências e entendendo, cada vez com mais propriedade, aquilo que o texto quer dizer.
Dizem que o conhecimento liberta, não é? Essa liberdade é financeira também!
