Princípios para A Ordem Mundial em Transformação
Esta semana a recomendação cultural ficou por conta do Rodrigo.
Quem me acompanha nas redes sociais e foi aluno do nosso curso sabe o como gosto de estudar o tema ciclos de mercado. Pois é um pouco disso que Ray Dalio nos trás neste livro, mas de forma muito mais ampla e aprofundada.
Para quem não sabe, Ray Dalio é um dos maiores investidores e gestores do mundo, fundador da Bridgewater Associates, salvo engano o maior fundo de hedge do mundo, se não for mais o maior, deve estar entre os 10 maiores. Ele é um grande estudiosos de ciclos de mercado, mas não no micro, como o ciclo imobiliário, mas os ciclos macros do mercado. E é isso que ele apresenta neste livro, como funcionam os ciclos de evolução e decadência das nações, como uma determinada moeda se torna moeda de reserva internacional e deixa de ser, assim por diante.
Ele faz uma análise histórica de tudo o que aconteceu no mundo financeiro até agora com o objetivo de entendermos como as coisas são cíclicas, ou seja, a ideia de que os EUA serão para sempre a super potência econômica pode não encontrar amparo na história, mas isso não significaria que deixará de ser amanhã.
Penso que o livro nos auxilia a entendermos o momento político e econômico mundial atual e até, de certo modo, os motivos que podem levar os EUA a agiram no atual modo.
O livro não trará respostas objetivas do tipo "compre cripto", mas vai fazer você pensar muito, algumas vezes até de forma incômoda, mas vai fazer você pensar, além de ajudar muito a entender como a economia é cíclica.
