Normalmente indico séries muitos boas aqui. Vou abrir uma exceção hoje.
Não que a série seja péssima. Não é o caso. Para quem gosta da pegada dos textos do Chuck Lorre, é ótima. Gags rápidas, bons diálogos. A premissa é que é muito fraca.
“Stuart”, até onde eu sei, bateu um recorde dentro da TV. É o 3º spin off de The Big Bang Theory. Ou seja: do mesmo universo, surgiram 4 séries diferentes. Nunca havia visto nada parecido.
Os 3 primeiros episódios foram simplistas. Cada um deles trouxe participação especial de um ator principal da série original. Os protagonistas tentam consertar uma realidade alternativa em que se encontram e, em todo final de episódio, mudam de realidade alternativa.
Não é de todo original, concorda? Mas é passável. Tanto assim que tem um 7.1 no IMDB. Vale pra quem consome muita coisa de comédia ou para quem ficou bem envolvido com a série original.

Caiu um lenço
Quando algo pesado atingia o chão, um ditado antigo dizia “caiu um lenço”.
Alguns, animados pela brincadeira, ainda completava: “pelo barulho, era um lenço de ferro”.
Eu acho a piada boa. Mas piadas boas também perdem a graça quando são contadas inúmeras vezes. Não é difícil de entender. O elemento surpresa vai embora. E ele, é claro, é bem importante no humor.
A expressão teve um uso muito exagerado em 1 ou 2 gerações antes da minha. Como uma música que toca ensurdecedoramente na rádio... No início você gostava, mas agora você troca de estação. Os exemplos são muitos: “listen to your heart”, de Roxette, é um dos que me vem à mente. A depender da época em que você escutava muito rádio, a canção tocava nas melhores estações, hora sim, hora também. Depois de um tempo você pede penico. Se não parar, começa a virar tortura com requintes de crueldade.
A origem da expressão provavelmente remete aos tempos que cavalheiros e damas usavam lenço para abafar as tosses ou espirros. Pensando bem, qualquer manifestação oral poderia ter essa intervenção. Como os homens eram ruins na arte da paquera, as mulheres precisavam deixar o lenço cair no chão propositalmente. Faziam uma cara de indefesa e de triste, e ai do homem que não abaixasse pra pegar o apetrecho! Ficava até mal falado dentro da comunidade!
Hoje em dia a história é um pouco diferente. Os mais gentis provavelmente chamariam a atenção da mulher secamente: “Ei! Moça! Caiu o teu lenço aê!” Acho aê uma palavra tão bonita. Tem muito mais charme que “aí”, o termo original.
Mas vamos deixar o charme do aê pra lá por um momento. Estamos falando dos homens modernos e da sua falta de charme.
Atualmente os homens não dariam muita bola para um lenço caindo. Mas isso não faz diferença, porque as pessoas hoje em dia não usam mais lenços. Ao menos não nas cidades em que eu morei. Muitos espirram na direção do coleguinha sem a menor cerimônia, muitas vezes sem dizer um “foi mal” depois. O mais elegante espirra no chão, levanta o braço com a mão estendida e anuncia o “foi mal”. Com cuidado pra não continuar tossindo na direção do coleguinha, é claro.
Agora vamos para a academia. Academia está cada vez mais em voga nos dias de hoje. O que é super justificável. Pra poder comer os ultraprocessados que fazem mais a saúde nas 3 refeições diárias, é preciso malhar ao menos 40 minutos, 2x por semana.
Todo mundo frequenta academia hoje. Quem gosta, quem não gosta. Quem tá magro, quem tá gordo. Quem tá recém-operado, mas é viciado. Tá todo mundo lá. Me espanta até os pets não estarem. Depois de tanto mercado para os pets, já vejo a hora de criar a “academia” para os bichinhos, em que os donos pagam pro animal fazer a mesma coisa que faria dando a volta na rua.
Naturalmente, há pessoas de todos os tipos de temperamento. Um deles me chama particularmente a atenção. Aquele que solta os pesos de uma altura considerável logo após terminar a sua série.
O peso encontra no chão com grande velocidade e faz “páw”. O chão treme como se houvesse um caminhão passando do outro lado da avenida. Algum piadista solta um “caiu um lenço” e a vida segue.
Passei a pensar o que vem à mente desse sujeito para ele querer ser diferente dos outros. Necessidade de chamar a atenção? “Veja só como estou malhado! E sem suco!!” Carência? Gosta de flertar com o perigo? Vai que o chão quebra e a academia fica avariada... vão me cobrar o conserto?
As respostas podem ser várias, é claro. Varia de pessoa pra pessoa. Mas a necessidade de chamar a atenção me parece ser a principal. A ação de tacar os pesos de uma altura de 30 cm dificilmente vai trazer algo de bom pra vida dele. Dificilmente uma moça bonita e malhada vai pensar “nossa, que bad boy! Tem coragem pra depredar a nossa academia! Preciso conquistá-lo e ter um filho com ele!”
Outra variação bem semelhante é a do boliche, quando os jogadores arremassam a bola primeiro para o alto – para depois cair vários centímetros e lembrar a todos que na pista 5 tem um cabra que não faz a menor ideia de como se joga.
Pode ser falta de jeito? Até pode. Mas o mais provável é novamente a nossa necessidade de chamar a atenção.
Mas o que isso tem a ver com mercado financeiro?
Ah, meu caro gafanhoto... é simples. Esse cara carente, que gosta de aparecer vai fazer um monte de trambique. Só vai postar os trades que deram certo, esquecendo completamente as nabas que tomou.
Isso se não for pior! Isso se ele não abrir 5 fundos diferentes, cada um deles 100% num só papel. Ele fecha os 4 piores e faz publicidade daquele com ótimo desempenho, tentando ganhar com os incautos.
É preciso tomar cuidado, ter alguma malícia.
Sempre conheça e confie na pessoa que está aconselhando o que fazer com seu dinheiro. Senão o seu patrimônio pode cair vertiginosamente - como o lenço das moças que tentavam flertar com os desajeitados rapazes.
