The 99 years old man! – HBO Max
“O homem de 99 anos” é um documentário muito bem-produzido sobre a vida de Mel Brooks, ícone mundial do humor.
Há muita coisa interessante aqui, principalmente pra quem curte comédias, musicais e produções antigas.
O documentário é assinado por Judd Apatow, brilhante roteirista de humor. Tem 2 partes, tendo ao todo um pouco mais de 3horas e meia de duração.
Ele realmente revolucionou o cinema e até mesmo os musicais.
Além de tudo, Brooks completou um EGOT, coisas que poucos artistas conseguiram na história. Isso acontece quando um artista ganha o Emmy, o Grammy, o Oscar e o Tony Awards, que é a festa de prêmios de musicais.
Bem legal. Pra quem curte, recomendo fortemente.

Não tem, mas deveria
Certo dia li um texto que achei genial. Era algo do tipo “aquele tipo de sujeito que só sabe falar sobre 2 coisas numa rodinha de conversa”. E é só. Segue o texto. O que são as 2 coisas fica para a imaginação do leitor.
Cada um, portanto, preenche como quiser.
Antes que troquemos de assunto, deixe-me felicitar e aplaudir então, do fundo do coração, esse autor que não sei quem é. Homenageio aqui e agora esse autor ou autora de crônica ou conto, encarnado ou desencarnado, que fez essa tirada brilhante.
Já deu pra ver que não faço a menor ideia de quem foi. O que é uma pena.
Poderia perfeitamente fazer como alguns e atribuir a frase fortuitamente a Clarissa Lispector ou Veríssimo, e quase ninguém notaria o erro. O que é uma pena.
Voltemos a tirada brilhante. Pra mim, por exemplo, imaginei que esse personagem falaria sobre futebol e carros.
Não é verdade que todos os homens sabem falar sobre futebol e carros, é claro. Isso é só um estereótipo. Tiro por mim:
Futebol eu entendo direitinho. Até porque já joguei. Já fui vice-campeão de torneio amador em que um time tinha um atleta que foi de seleção brasileira.
Entendo até mais do que gostaria. Muitas vezes, já sei que o Botafogo vai perder o jogo apenas pela escalação dos times. O Botafogo é assim: está sempre lá, pronto para garantir que eu não deixe de passar raiva nesse hobby.
Minha ideia aqui é abandonar o Botafogo sem que, para isso, eu tenha deixado de ser fiel a ele. Não é uma tarefa fácil, mas talvez eu dê um jeito.
Enquanto eu clique o box de futebol do estereótipo, não podemos dizer o mesmo em relação a carros.
Sou extremamente prático em relação a isso. Quase autista. O carro é algo feito pra me levar do ponto A ao ponto B, de preferência com um nível mínimo de conforto. Conforto pra mim é ar-condicionado e sistema de som funcionando, não vou muito mais além. Sou fácil de agradar.
Não entendo, portanto, quase nada dos carangos.
Meu 1º carro foi 1000, afinal achava importante economizar. Mudei de marca aos poucos. Acabei num Corolla depois de notar dezenas de mecânicos diferentes contando a história de alguém que comprou dessa marca e nunca mais precisou de oficina. Não me arrependi.
A negociação para a compra não foi trivial. Compra grande, mandei msg pra uma concessionária, mandei pra outra. Esperei uns dias. Fiz tudo conforme o figurino. Ao fim das contas, tinha nas mãos um desconto maior do que eles queriam dar, mas menor do que eu julgava que iria abocachar.
A concessionária chamava-se Osaka. Nome japonês para marca japonesa.
Após uns 5 ou 7 dias, descobri algo que outros provavelmente descobririam na mesma hora: a concessionário sapecou um adesivo na parte de trás do carro, fazendo uma propaganda de si mesmo. Sem a menor cerimônia.
Voltei ao estabelecimento e pedi ao gerente que retirasse o material não solicitado. O gerente estranhou muito o meu pedido, mas acabou acatando. Não sem antes ter a cara-de-pau de perguntar o por quê?
- Ué... Porque eu iria andar pra cá e pra lá com uma propaganda de vocês sem receber nada por isso? Vocês me dão algum dinheiro por isso?
- Não, não tem como pagar.
- Não tem, mas deveria.
Ele achou a resposta meio grosseira, mas não me pareceu necessário procurar outras palavras.
Ao que parece, essa prática é comum. E as pessoas curtem muito, como se aquilo fosse uma marca de status. Ao menos é o que tentou me convencer o gerente.
Tenho dificuldade em conceber se isso é estorinha ou não. Pra mim não faz o maior sentido. Mas nem sempre eu sou parâmetro; muita gente usa relógio como símbolo de status, por exemplo, e eu prefiro de longe ver o horário no celular.
A lista é quase infindável.
O camarada gostaria é de praticar xadrez, mas ele se obriga a jogar pólo e contar pra todo mundo, pois é uma atividade cara. Gostaria de passar as férias numa praia quentinha do Nordeste, mas se obriga a ir pra Nova York para que as histórias impressionem os outros.
Esse é um problema crônico da nossa sociedade. E não é de hoje.
No mercado financeiro, é preciso ter opinião firme formada, baseada em fatos. Esqueça se os outros vão gostar do ativo que você tem ou não. Esqueça se ele é modinha.

Não caia nessa. O que importa é se o papel está barato, se a empresa é boa, gera caixa e tem ótimas perspectivas.
E quanto a Osaka? Quer saber se ela tem orçamento pra me remunerar por aparecer na crônica?
Não tem. Mas deveria.
